About this design

This minimalist bathroom showcases a dominant palette of soft whites, warm beige, and golden concrete tones. The primary materials are raw concrete for the walls and floor, paired with a sleek dark stone countertop and brushed brass fixtures. Natural light is the star of the space, pouring dramatically from a long skylight above and creating bold diagonal shadows that sculpt the architecture. A wall-mounted toilet sits within a recessed niche, while a floating vanity with integrated sink occupies the foreground. The spatial layout is intentionally narrow and linear, emphasizing height and the play of light. The overall mood is calm, contemplative, and spa-like, making it perfect for a contemporary urban apartment, boutique hotel, or anyone seeking a serene, architectural bathing experience that celebrates natural light and honest materials.

How to get this look

  • Install a long skylight or high clerestory window to create dramatic diagonal light beams across plain walls
  • Use raw or lightly polished concrete on walls and floors for a monolithic, tactile surface
  • Choose warm brushed-brass or bronze fixtures to contrast with cool concrete tones
  • Incorporate a floating vanity with a thick dark stone or concrete countertop for visual lightness
  • Keep the color palette strictly neutral with warm whites, beiges, and natural material tones
