Rooftop Terrace with Sunken Bathtub and Striped Daybed

This rooftop terrace showcases a sophisticated minimalist design dominated by a neutral palette of warm beige, soft grey, and creamy white. The primary material is smooth architectural concrete used for the walls, raised platform, and steps, complemented by light-colored wooden decking and natural woven textiles. Recessed warm LED lighting along the steps creates a gentle glow that enhances the tranquil mood as the sky transitions from daylight to dusk. The spatial layout is cleverly tiered: a lower deck features two generously sized outdoor daybeds with neutral striped fabric and bolster pillows, while three wide concrete steps lead up to a raised platform housing a rectangular sunken bathtub. A low concrete planter filled with lush tropical plants like monstera and palm fronds provides privacy and softens the hardscape. Decorative elements include rustic ceramic vessels and a textured woven pouf. This space perfectly suits urban dwellers seeking a private wellness retreat, ideal for evening soaks under the stars or relaxed daytime lounging in a contemporary tropical setting.
