Rooftop Terrace with Travertine Outdoor Kitchen

This sun-drenched rooftop terrace showcases a harmonious neutral palette of creamy travertine, warm oak, and soft dove-grey upholstery. The dominant materials include large-format travertine slabs for the outdoor kitchen island and backsplash, solid oak ceiling beams with dark metal accents, and concrete planters. Natural daylight floods the space, creating crisp shadows and a bright, airy atmosphere, while recessed ceiling spotlights ensure usability in the evening. The spatial layout cleverly divides the area into a generous L-shaped lounging zone with a round coffee table in the foreground and a dedicated cooking and bar area at the rear, complete with four woven bar stools. Lush planters filled with ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs soften the architectural lines and provide privacy. This sophisticated yet relaxed outdoor living room is ideal for urban homeowners who enjoy entertaining, alfresco dining, and year-round outdoor living in a contemporary minimalist style.
