About this design

This serene living space is defined by a monumental curved sectional sofa upholstered in soft grey boucle fabric that creates an intimate conversation pit. The modular seating flows organically around a simple circular light-wood coffee table, forming a gentle focal point. The dominant palette is composed of calming neutrals—warm greys, creamy whites, and natural wood tones—complemented by the vibrant green of the sunken courtyard visible beyond the seating. The courtyard features velvety moss, weathered rocks, and a delicate Japanese maple, bringing biophilic tranquility indoors. Soft, diffused natural light floods the space from above, enhancing the minimalist and meditative mood. The spatial layout cleverly integrates interior and exterior, making the garden an essential part of the living experience. This design perfectly suits homeowners seeking a peaceful, contemporary sanctuary for reading, contemplation, or quiet social gatherings.
