About this design

This striking interior showcases a sculptural curved staircase crafted from rich medium-toned oak that gracefully ascends through the space. The dominant palette blends warm terracotta reds from the exposed brick wall, deep chocolate browns of the massive reclaimed wooden beams, and soft creamy plaster on the curved stair wall. The lighting is a sophisticated mix of recessed ceiling spots, a sculptural floor lamp with a white shade casting a warm glow, and a small modern table lamp. The spatial layout masterfully contrasts the raw industrial character of the original warehouse elements with the organic, flowing form of the new staircase. The mood is simultaneously dramatic and serene, creating a welcoming yet artistic atmosphere. This design approach particularly suits creative professionals, loft dwellers, or anyone seeking to transform a large open industrial space into a sophisticated modern home that celebrates both history and contemporary craftsmanship.
