About this design

This powerful before-and-after transformation showcases the complete revitalization of a dilapidated two-story concrete industrial building into a tranquil tropical sanctuary. The dominant palette shifts from bleak grey concrete and faded white walls to warm earth tones featuring exposed red brick, soft beige stucco, and vibrant greenery. The once barren concrete courtyard is now an inviting pool terrace with black metal railings, a covered wooden pergola, and cascading brick steps that lead down to a turquoise swimming pool. Lush tropical plants and mature trees frame the space, creating a natural canopy that softens the industrial bones. A glowing red paper lantern adds a touch of cultural warmth. The spatial layout cleverly integrates the existing structure with the new landscape, turning a forgotten industrial site into a luxurious leisure destination perfect for boutique hotels, countryside villas, or creative live-work compounds.
