About this design
This striking living room is dominated by an enormous, book-matched marble feature wall in swirling tones of sage green, charcoal, and creamy white, creating a powerful natural artwork. The dominant palette is moody and earthy—deep blacks, mineral greens, and neutral stone tones. A low-profile charcoal velvet sofa with oversized back cushions sits directly in front of the marble, emphasizing its scale. In the foreground, a substantial round coffee table with a honed green marble top and heavy dark stone base holds art books and a raw textured stone vessel. The lighting is soft and directional, highlighting the three-dimensional texture of the marble veining. The spatial layout is intimate yet theatrical, with the marble wall acting as both backdrop and sculpture. This space suits design enthusiasts, art collectors, and those who appreciate bold, nature-inspired luxury interiors with a contemporary edge.
