About this design

This inviting living room showcases a warm neutral palette dominated by creamy whites, rich terracotta reds, and earthy wood tones. The dominant materials include a large hand-knotted Persian rug with intricate blue and red patterns, a substantial marble fireplace surround, herringbone oak flooring, and black-stained wooden lounge chairs with woven rattan accents. Natural light pours in from the side, creating dramatic patches of sunlight across the rug and highlighting the texture of the vintage textiles. A striking large-scale portrait painting with vibrant greens and warm orange details serves as the focal point above the fireplace. The spatial layout is balanced and conversational, with a green velvet sofa facing two sculptural black lounge chairs across a geometric glass coffee table. This space perfectly suits a creative professional or art collector who appreciates a layered, worldly aesthetic that mixes modern, mid-century, and traditional elements with confidence.
