Olive Velvet Cloud Sofa in Concrete Living Room

This living room embodies contemporary minimalism through a restrained material palette of raw concrete, warm walnut, and rich olive velvet. The dominant palette is neutral with earthy tones—soft greys, creamy beige, and deep forest green. The standout piece is a luxurious tufted cloud sofa in olive velvet, its organic, bulbous form contrasting beautifully with the hard, monolithic concrete walls and floor. A thick, irregular stone slab coffee table rests on a raw wood base, adding tactile interest. Recessed ceiling spotlights provide clean, functional illumination while large wooden shutters filter natural light, creating a warm, diffused glow. The spatial layout is open and airy, with a long floating concrete console that houses a modern fireplace and art. This space suits design enthusiasts, young professionals, and couples who appreciate quiet luxury, tactile materials, and a calm, grounded atmosphere that feels both architectural and cocooning.
