About this design

This striking open-plan dining and kitchen space showcases a dominant palette of warm honey-toned teak wood contrasted against cool raw concrete ceilings and dark polished stone flooring. The generous use of solid teak creates a rich, natural texture throughout the built-in cabinetry, display cases, and the substantial dining table paired with six minimalist wooden chairs. Natural light floods the room through expansive black-framed windows that frame a vibrant tropical garden, bringing lush greenery into the interior. A long linear pendant light and multiple track spotlights provide layered artificial lighting, enhancing the dramatic height and industrial elegance of the concrete structure. The spatial layout cleverly integrates the dining area with the kitchen island, promoting seamless flow for both daily living and entertaining. This design perfectly suits families who appreciate warm natural materials, modern tropical architecture, and a strong connection to outdoor greenery.
