About this design

This spacious bedroom showcases a dominant palette of warm neutrals — creamy travertine, soft beige, and deep charcoal. The standout feature is a massive, custom travertine island that serves as both a visual anchor and functional storage piece, contrasting beautifully with the dark, reflective floor. A low platform bed dressed in layered neutral linens sits against a tall, upholstered charcoal headboard wall, flanked by minimalist wall sconces that cast a gentle upward glow. The dramatic angled ceiling and generous height create an airy, almost gallery-like atmosphere. Hidden behind the island is a glass-walled bathroom or dressing area that allows natural light to penetrate deeper into the space. The overall mood is calm, luxurious, and contemplative. This design perfectly suits design-conscious couples or individuals seeking a serene, uncluttered sanctuary that balances raw materiality with refined minimalism.
