About this design

This striking open-air lobby showcases a sophisticated blend of brutalist concrete and warm organic elements. The dominant palette consists of earthy neutrals — soft beige concrete walls, warm grey stone flooring, and rich dark brown tones from reclaimed wood and weathered timber columns. A sculptural cylindrical concrete fire pit sits prominently in the center, its flames adding dynamic movement and a cozy focal point. Abundant tropical plants, including trailing monstera and philodendron, cascade from the ceiling and wooden beams, softening the raw architectural lines. Natural sunlight pours in from above, creating dramatic shadows and a tranquil, spa-like atmosphere. The spatial layout is symmetrical and welcoming, with a long reclaimed wood reception desk positioned against the back wall beneath a bold horizontal abstract ink painting. This design perfectly suits high-end tropical resorts, luxury wellness retreats, or upscale boutique hotels seeking a contemporary yet grounded sense of arrival.
