About this design

This intimate dining nook showcases a sophisticated industrial-modern palette dominated by cool concrete gray, rich walnut tones, and warm natural wood. The dominant feature is the beautifully textured concrete wall that serves as a neutral backdrop for two striking framed photographs: one capturing a surfer riding a wave and the other showcasing the iconic Venice Beach sign. A clear glass globe pendant light with an exposed filament bulb hangs centrally, casting a soft, warm glow that contrasts beautifully with the cool wall. The furniture combines a live-edge wooden communal table in the foreground with a smaller rectangular walnut table paired with curved-back wooden chairs upholstered in neutral fabric. A tiny vase with a single green chrysanthemum adds a touch of life. The overall mood is calm, contemplative, and subtly coastal, making this space perfect for a boutique café, a small urban eatery, or a surf-inspired residential breakfast nook.
