About this design

This intimate bedroom embraces a warm, minimalist aesthetic dominated by various tones of natural wood. The dominant palette consists of honeyed beige, caramel, and deep walnut browns created by the extensive use of plywood panels on walls, ceiling, and built-in structures. The spatial layout is cleverly compact, featuring a floating platform bed nestled within a timber cocoon, with integrated storage and bedside niches. Two minimalist wall sconces flank a small horizontal window that frames lush greenery, providing a vital connection to nature. A single exposed filament pendant light hangs from the ceiling, adding a touch of industrial warmth. The overall mood is cocoon-like, tranquil, and grounding—perfect for those seeking a calming urban retreat or a modern Japandi-inspired sanctuary. The thoughtful material continuity creates a seamless, womb-like environment that feels both luxurious and deeply comforting.
