Lakeside Black Steel Pavilion at Sunset

This contemporary lakeside pavilion showcases a bold, minimalist aesthetic defined by dark corten steel and black metal cladding contrasted with expansive glass walls. The dominant palette consists of deep charcoal, warm rust tones, and vibrant green from the living roof, complemented by the soft pink and orange hues of the sunset sky. Natural light floods the interior through full-height glazing, creating dramatic reflections on the water and a warm, inviting glow at dusk. The spatial layout is low and horizontal, allowing the building to sit harmoniously within the open park landscape while maintaining a strong visual presence. Surrounded by lush trees, open lawns, and colorful shade sails, the structure serves perfectly as a cultural or exhibition space for art lovers, cyclists, and families enjoying the Taoyuan wetland park. The overall mood is serene yet architectural, blending industrial materiality with natural beauty.
