About this design

This sophisticated living room embodies a contemporary Parisian aesthetic defined by a restrained neutral palette of warm whites, soft beiges, and deep blacks. The dominant materials include plush black velvet on the curvaceous modular sofa, polished metallic finishes on the sculptural coffee table and sculpture pedestal, and natural linen curtains that diffuse daylight. A striking black kinetic chandelier with organic, leaf-like forms serves as the focal point, casting dynamic shadows across the space. The room features a thoughtful spatial layout with the sofa positioned to face both the coffee table and the tall abstract sculpture, while large abstract paintings rest casually against the wall, adding an artistic, gallery-like quality. The overall mood is calm, sculptural, and intellectually luxurious. This space would perfectly suit art collectors, design enthusiasts, or urban professionals seeking a refined yet livable environment that balances modern minimalism with tactile comfort.

  • Use floor-to-ceiling sheer linen curtains to soften natural light while maintaining an airy feel
  • Lean large unframed abstract paintings against walls instead of hanging them for a relaxed gallery effect
