About this design

This striking contemporary residence showcases a harmonious blend of warm timber, raw concrete, and abundant greenery. The dominant palette consists of natural wood tones, cool concrete grays, and vibrant living greens. A mature tree is deliberately preserved and integrated through the building’s open structural system, becoming the architectural centerpiece. The spatial layout features a double-height open courtyard that allows the tree to grow freely while connecting the indoor dining area with the outdoor landscape. Large glass walls on the ground floor create seamless visual continuity between interior and exterior. The mood is tranquil, organic, and contemplative, celebrating the coexistence of built form and nature. This design approach is ideal for architects, nature lovers, and families seeking a peaceful, biophilic home that blurs the boundary between house and garden.
