Double-Height Gallery Living Room with Curved Sofa

This striking double-height living room showcases a cool, minimalist palette dominated by soft greys, crisp whites, and warm metallic accents. The dominant material is large-format light grey terrazzo flooring that flows seamlessly throughout the space, contrasted by the plush bouclé fabric of the dramatic curved sectional sofa. A glossy muted-rose circular coffee table with a sculptural metal base adds a subtle pop of color. Dramatic architectural features include a sweeping curved upper gallery with sleek black metal railings and a dramatic circular pendant light track suspended from the ceiling. The space functions as both a living area and private gallery, with ancient stone sculptures, a large abstract black-and-white painting, and dozens of framed photographs displayed on both levels. Integrated LED spotlights and natural light from above create a museum-like ambiance. The thoughtful spatial layout, with its sunken conversation pit and elevated viewing gallery, makes this an ideal setting for art collectors, design enthusiasts, or anyone seeking a sophisticated, contemplative living environment that seamlessly blends modern architecture with curated antiquities.
