About this design

This sophisticated open-plan living and dining space showcases a serene neutral palette dominated by creamy travertine, warm beige, and soft oak tones. The dominant material is beautifully book-matched travertine, used on a raised platform with integrated steps that subtly divide the living and dining zones while adding architectural drama. A striking oversized glass and brass pendant light serves as the focal point, casting a warm ambient glow. The mood is calm, luxurious, and contemporary, enhanced by the abundant natural light pouring in from floor-to-ceiling windows that frame a distant city and water view. A vibrant chartreuse furry lounge chair provides a bold pop of color against the neutral backdrop, complemented by black dining chairs and rich brown leather accents. The spatial layout is fluid and generous, ideal for a modern urban apartment or luxury penthouse suited for design-conscious professionals and families who appreciate understated elegance and seamless indoor-outdoor connection.
