About this design

This spacious open-plan living and dining room showcases a warm minimalist aesthetic defined by a soft neutral palette of creamy travertine floors, light oak walls, and rich walnut-toned wood ceilings. The dominant materials include honed travertine, natural wood, woven rattan on dining chairs, and plush forest-green velvet upholstery on the generous modular sofa. Natural daylight pours in through expansive floor-to-ceiling glass walls that frame a lush subtropical garden, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor connection. A sculptural pendant light hangs above the organic-shaped dining table, while recessed lighting and warm ambient lamps ensure layered illumination in the evening. The mood is calm, grounded, and quietly luxurious. The spatial layout cleverly uses a central concrete pillar to define zones without closing them off, making the room ideal for families or design-conscious couples who enjoy entertaining while staying visually connected to nature.
